Very professional and customer focused atmosphere. Minimal wait time for my appointment. PA saw me right after the nurse did pre-screening.
Timely and thoroughly analyzed the condition and came up with a plan and prescription that addressed the immediate need. Felt like the questions and intake covered a deductive approach that quickly addressed the immediate problem and also laid a foundation for a go forward plan I could take up with my primary doctor

I got there late on Sunday. After reviewing my symptoms and medical history they prescribed a 6 day course of prednisone. On Monday, my pulmonologist ordered a chest X-ray. It turned out that I had pneumonia. 2 antibiotics prescribed. I don’t know why I didn’t get a chest X-ray at TGH Urgent Care. Maybe getting there late on Sunday had something to do with it.
I was brought back to an exam room quickly and even though I was referred to the nearest ER shortly after arriving at the urgent care for a concussion, I received excellent care by the nurse practitioner who saw me at TGH Urgent Care. I wish I still had my ER referral paper she provided me with her name on it, but unfortunately I do not. Regardless, she provided gentle, individualized, and great care. I am very grateful.
