I visited TGH Urgent Care - Downtown at the Heights, Tampa, FL for a Covid screening for travel. I was told by the provider that I didn't need one and sent away. Then they billed my insurance company and myself for an office visit, instead of a covid screening. This changes the billing so I am responsible for the costs. Covid screening is 100% covered by the insurance/state agreement, but by doing this, they make me responsible for the costs.

Very convenient to where I live. Facility was very clean with socially distanced seating . The staff were friendly and the doctor very informative . I would definitely use this location again !!!

Everyone was great and very nice
.I had an eye infection. Came into the office and sat for 1 1/2 hrs. Only 2 people in waiting room, but I felt like they took everyone else ahead of me and some that came in after me because my eye wasn't as important. It took 5 minutes with me for her to say I had an eye infection and prescribed some medication for me to pick up at CVS. This wait time was unacceptable. I've been there before so they had all my info. Very disappointed in this situation.
The staff was very attentive and professional thru my stay and highly recommend this facility to family and friends
