The check in staff member was very kind. The PA was ineffective, inattentive and dangerous. He did not listen - repeatedly - when told a brief medical history related to my visit. He ordered a prescription with the incorrect dosage and following my trip to the pharmacy, I had to return to the Urgent Care. He corrected the dosage, but we learned the antibiotic required a prior authorization from Medicare that IF he did the work, would take a few days...minimum. I went to URGENT CARE! The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. I would NOT recommend this urgent care based on the level of care that the PA who saw my elderly Mom provided. The visit was for a wound check, since Mom’s primary wound care provider was unavailable for a few days, and we were concerned. The PA did not provide any firm answers as to the level of severity, even after pressing for answers, which was concerning. More of an issue is that he prescribed an incorrect antibiotic. I like when I am told everything, and treated as an intelligent adult while taking care of my problem. If I need help this is where I will always go!
Came in at 7:30pm and needed stitches. Everyone was very friendly, clean and professional. I didn’t feel any pain and I think my wound is going to heal very well!
I was greeted promptly by the two women at the front desk I said please fight over me lol they were very kind and helpful I struggled with my paperwork set as I had not been to your facility before both ladies were very helpful after that I was called and was seen by your physician assistant everybody was great and helpful my visit while being sick was very satisfactory.
Professional, efficient and the St. Pete facility was spotless. Great experience! 👍
