I came in after a horribly stiff neck for 6 days. I couldnt get an appt with my PCP, but he recommended going to urgent care. The provider I saw said that yes my muscle was very stiff and she recommended a dose pack of prednisone. I told her I was already giving myself prednisone (as I have it because of arthritis). The provider also recommended a muscle relaxer but couldn't give it to me as I am newly diagnosed with epilepsy and it would interfere with my epilepsy meds. She basically sent me away with no other options.... read more
