I have visited your location 3 or 4 times in the past to do my pre-employment drug screens and have always been very satisfied with my experience. On this occasion, I waited for 3.5 hrs to be seen. 5 to 6 people who came in after I did were seen before me. There was only 1 other person in the waiting area, who arrived 15 minutes earlier when I was seen. It takes 10 to 15 minutes for this test and I was not allowed to leave the building. Quick to check in wasn’t a long wait time. This was my first time at this riverview location, however I was more than impressed with how they took my allergic reaction. They had knew right away how to help and took me more seriously allowing me to explain what the issue was. I am also feeling a lot better, thank you for your help!!
What I originally thought was a good experience getting test for the Corona virus turned out to be a negative and disappointing experience . I was informed by the patient portal that my test was mislabeled and being sent back to your facility. I called your facility and no one could give me a straight or accurate account of what took place. They simply told me it was being corrected and I'd lnow the results within ten days. I came in during the Covid-19 testing, which was stressful for everyone. I had called about 10 places before i called TGH and they were open! I was so grateful. The girl at the front desk was so kind to me and so was my nurse and doctor (i think she was an RN technically). The staff was amazing and treated me amazingly
Everyone was helpful and polite. The doctor was very helpful and knowledgeable.
My own primary physician wouldn't see flu patients. So, I wound up isolated at home hoping my OTC cold meds and Mucinex were going to conquer my throat and cough. 4 days after I tried getting that appt with my Dr, I went into TGH urgent care. I was seen within 2hrs. Bronchitis dx and scripts for cough syrup and nasal spray. I feel better, but, I probably would have wound up in the hospital had I not been seen by you all. Thank you.
