I am visiting our daughter, I live in Michigan. On Sunday 12/17 I experienced a scary medical event, but not an emergency. I contacted TGH Urgent Care in Carrollwood on Monday morning 12/18 and they were very helpful. I was seen by a medical assistant and a physician withing an hour, had some preliminary lab work, diagnosed with a UTI and sent home with a script for antibiotics. Everyone was very courteous!
I was seen promptly and checked in with no issues. PA was attentive and courteous and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. I left with a diagnosis and a remedy to my situation and it has been great on the way back to recovery!
The whole team did amazing from front desk to the man that did my vitals and X-ray to the doctor everyone was amazing
Wait was average to get seen. Doctor who saw me was nice, but initially wasn’t going to test me for strep until I pressed for it. They also prescribed me antibiotics in the same group as what I was allergic too (said it was a “cousin” and I should be fine despite my previous reactions being a rash on my neck and face) and did not explore other antibiotics with me.
