Knowledgeable PA with great bedside manner took care of me. Love the fact they will call in your Rx to CVS, therefore reducing your wait time at the pharmacy.
I smashed my right middle finger between 2 pieces of wood and was bleeding. I was immediately triaged and brought to a treatment room. Minutes later I was seen by a nurse who confirmed that I would lose my nail. We discussed whether I should have an X-ray and she felt it was probably a good idea. Their tech was not in so I was sent to the next town for an X-ray which was negative. I had been given instructions and an antibiotic at the first ER.
All staff were great and wait time was minimal. I came in on a Sunday for very high blood pressure readings (that we all felt was most likely stress related.) I felt that appropriate care was taken, including EKG and new prescription. However, I came to the TGH urgent care facility because it is in the same building—with shared reception—as my TGMG PCP.
