I went to the local TGH Urgent Care (Tyrone) on Tuesday evening. I had made an appointment for knee pain. When I arrived, I started to check in only to find out that there was no xray tech there. There is one tech that circulates through several centers. This is appalling. Tampa General Hospital is supposed to be the #1 hospital in the area which we all know makes money hand over fist. It was good..
The provider was thorough in her assessment and listened to my concerns, she validated my thought process regarding appropriate diagnostic testing and follow-up and helped schedule them while keeping in mind my preferences for location and the urgency involved. I've always gotten great care here and this time was no exception!

Left clinic without being told next steps or when turn to work information. Was also given bacterial antibiotics when I had the flu. Something seemed wrong there…
